News: Death toll rises after Indian train crash

A deadly incident happened in India where a SPEEDING express train had ploughed violently into the stationary passenger train, causing 61 death. The impact was so strong it sent the root of one car flying onto overpass.

According to the allegation, the crowd had scrambled to save the survivors for 3 hours before the rescue team arrived. It was a horrible incident and the death toll may rise.

The police suspected that it was the reprisal done by the local Maoist rebels who were also blamed blamed for a derailment that killed 145 people two month ago.

The disaster had become the second major train crash in the state of West Bengal, India in the past two month. India's sprawling rail network was deplored for its poor maintenance and frequent accidents.
