Aussie news: Sewage leak fears as two dolphins die at Monkey Mia

Prompt action had been taken to investigate the possible leakage t which allegedly blamed to be the main culprit over the death of two dolphins at the popular West Australian beach resort of Monkey Mia. Tourists found a dead adult male dolphin in front of the world-renowned resort yesterday and found a dead juvenile later in the day 22km south of Monkey Mia. One the dolphin had been sent for autopsy for furher information while the another had been washed back to the sea. The leakage on the sewage system in the past three month was suspected to be the cause of this appalling mess. Further investigation will be carried out since the test that had been carried out albeit showed some continuing groundwater, the result was negligible. Because of this incident, the dolphin feeding time at Monkey Mia will continue in a shortened format.

  1. Immediate actions should be taken to prevent further leakages so that no more dolphins and other creatures will be affected. Dolphins are facing extinction and this kind of human caused activities should not be happened again~^^
