In this new, Gerald Laneaux according to the allegation had been called as a paedophile after being suspected involved in sexually assaulting two girls. According to the news, one allegedly took place at a Pflugerville pre-school while the other took place in his car. One of the victim' mother felt deceived to have put trust on the convict. This misfortune happened on her daughter when Laneaux was giving the girl a ride home. While the another victim's mother felt outraged knowing this terrible sexual harassment happened on her four-year-old daughter at the Goddard School off Wells Branch in Pflugerville. According to the owner of the school, Laneaux was once a teacher in the school and his character was quite problematic. He was asked to leave after a couple of month working there last summer. Fortunately, the victims are now having the appropriate counselling consultation and now doing well. For the safety of other children, one of the victim's mother hoped that the convict was locked for good before he exacerbate the situation. Her concern was that now he was molesting, what the next target and brutal act will he do? Will him aim for baby? Will he kill them? For sure the what will in the end will be more disastrous.
In my opinion, parents should not give much trust on any strangers and let them to take care of their children even they are teacher as we do not know the personal background well. Moreover, parent should also nurture their child to be more alert to strangers and never trust them easily. This can help to prevent this appalling catastrophe happen again.
